What's Happening in Our Town
Memorial Day Parade

The Peterborough Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 28th.  The Parade marchers will meet at the Peterborough Community Center on Elm Street at 8 am.  The Parade will step off at 8:30 heading towards Main Street and down towards the Peterborough Library Bridge. Just before the bridge, the Parade will pause to honor the Sea Veterans and then continue on to Veterans Way and up School Street onto Grove Street and the Memorial Gates.  Any Veterans who wish to participate in the Parade, please meet at the Community Center.

Planning Board Meeting May 21 5:30 pm
Planning Board Meeting will meet at 5;30 pm on Monday, May 21 in the Selectmen's Room of the Town House. The purpose of the meeting is (1) to deliberate and prepare recommendations for the Select Board regarding the potential sale of the GAR Hall to a private individual; and (2) begin to develop a work program for planning and zoning issues.
2011 Annual Report - Now Available Online
The digital version of Peterborough's 2011 Annual Report is now available.  Copies are available at the Town Hall.
Boston Post Cane 2012 Recipient
The Town of Peterborough was honored to present Mrs. Doris Leroux, the "oldest" citizen in Peterborough, with the town's Boston Post Cane.  Mrs. Leroux was born in September, 1908, in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  She was joined by friends on Tuesday, April 10th, at her home in Peterborough for the presentation of the Cane by the town's Select Board.  Mrs. Leroux's name will be added to a plaque of past Boston Post Cane Recipients in Peterborough's Town Hall.

Agricultural Commission

Plan NH Merit Award
Plan NH presented a Merit Award on March 29, 2012 for Excellence in Planning, Design, and Development to the Department of Public Works and Office of Community Development for West Peterborough TIF District Improvements Project, West Peterborough.
